Last updated: March 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AEU DNS service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Service Description
AEU DNS provides encrypted DNS resolution services including:
- DNS over HTTPS (DoH), DNS over TLS (DoT), DNS over QUIC (DoQ), and DNS53
- Content filtering: ad blocking, tracker blocking, malware protection
- Parental controls: adult content blocking, SafeSearch enforcement, time controls
- Privacy protection: Oblivious DNS over HTTPS (ODoH), post-quantum encryption
- Mutual TLS (mTLS) authentication with hybrid quantum-resistant certificates
- Web dashboard for profile management and configuration
- Mobile applications for Android and iOS
The service operates on DNS servers located in the European Union. DNS resolution is delivered globally via Cloudflare and Google CDN.
3. Account Registration
- You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. Since we only require an email address for registration and do not collect age or identity information, we cannot verify your age. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Users under 16 may only use AEU DNS through a profile configured by a parent or legal guardian.
- You must provide a valid email address.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- One person may create multiple profiles but only one account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes. You shall NOT:
- Use the service for any illegal activity or to facilitate illegal activity by others
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the service infrastructure
- Use the service to conduct DNS amplification attacks or other denial-of-service attacks
- Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the system without authorization
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the service without written permission

12. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, power failures, internet infrastructure failures, or cyberattacks of unprecedented scale.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before they take effect.
